How do my private booking procedures work? Read the outline below for answers to common group package questions. Get in touch if you need more information.
GROUP SIZE MINIMUMS & LIMITS
Private bookings start from a minimum of 10 people up to a maximum of 30 people.
Private tour bookings can accommodate extra-large groups (30+ people), but advance notice is required. Larger tour groups may need to split up across breweries and buses in order to accommodate everyone comfortably.
GROUP PACKAGE PRICING
Private bookings are offered on discount from public tours. Contact Do Sask to request a quote.
CONFIRMING YOUR BOOKING
Get in touch with Amy (email@example.com) when you’re ready to book to see if your chosen date is available. You will be prompted with an initial, non-refundable $250 + GST booking invoice to confirm the date and time. The final balance is due 7 days prior to your event.
Private bookings will not be held without a paid deposit.
CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING
There are no refunds after you’ve paid your final balance. Touch base 7 days prior to your booking for an opportunity to lower the total cost if you have individuals drop out of your initial group number. If less than 10 people attend you will be charged for a minimum of 10 people in order to keep your private group booking.
MAKING A PAYMENT
Bookings are payable via PayPal which accepts all major credit cards along with debit payments. There is an automatic convenience charge of 2.9% +.30 cents for payments made through PayPal, or 3.4% +.15 cents for manual credit card payments. You can waive these surcharges if payment is made through e-transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org.
GETTING AROUND THE CITY
Private tour bookings include one pickup and one drop off location. Pick up and drop off can be two separate locations. Your preferred locations must be within Saskatoon city limits. Rural pickups will incur an additional charge.
TIPPING IS NOT INCLUDED ON TOURS
Each tour works with various hospitality providers such as brew masters, guides, and drivers. An automatic 18% gratuity is customary in the hospitality industry for large groups over 10 people. Tipping on tour is not mandatory, but welcomed by each individual provider. Please bring cash with you, so that your gift can directly impact those you wish to tip.
CODE OF CONDUCT
All public and private bookings offered by Do Sask adhere to the Terms & Conditions.
Alcohol On Tour
You’ll have plenty of drinks on tour including opportunities to purchase additional beverages. If your group chooses to finish their samples throughout your tour they’ll likely blow over the legal limit of .04 BAC for drivers in Saskatchewan.
Do Sask strongly encourages you as a responsible group organizer to arrange a safe way home for guests after the tour ends. Ask your guide or driver for a full list of transportation providers in Saskatoon.
Absolutely no outside alcohol is permitted while on the tour bus. If you purchase a growler it must remain sealed until your tour is over.
No smoking of any kind is permitted on the bus , or inside the microbreweries (cigarettes, e-cigarettes, etc.).
Right of Refusal
Do Sask organizers, drivers, and guides have the right to refuse service to any guest who appears to be inebriated, or displays behaviour that contradicts the Code of Conduct at any point on the tour. Offending patrons will be asked to leave and refunds will not be provided.
When you pay the deposit you indicate that you have read, understood, and agreed to the private booking procedures and the terms outlined above.
